David Klahr is the founder and owner of David Klahr Consulting Inc, a boutique consulting firm that helps private and public sector clients understand the Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS), New Transit, and on-demand Transportation landscape.
He has extensive leadership experience in the sector, including executive positions in policy and operations at the New York City Taxi & Limousine Commission, one of the largest and most active regulators of private and on-demand transit in the world.
Previous high-visibility project successes include leading the launch of an advanced custom-designed taxicab product with Nissan Motors (the ‘Taxi of Tomorrow’), a complete re-write of New York City’s taxicab and for-hire vehicle laws to make them easier to understand and use, and advising some of the largest and most prominent global consulting & investment firms on how to value and enter new markets in urban transit.
David has a Masters in Public Administration from Columbia University with a concentration in Advanced Management and Finance. He also has a Bachelor of Arts from Hampshire College.
